Faresco are a manufacturer of quality kitchenware who understand that their customers value design and ‘user appeal’ as much as the quality of build and manufacture. The company approached Fripp Design and Research to develop a new handle and lid with a brief to build on their Pro-Ware brand by fusing style, functionality and longevity in the designs.
What we did:
Conceived over 50 initial design concepts for the client to review
Used concept development to explore the many possible options before funnelling the propositions down to one clear idea
Created 3D CAD models to communicate the design details to the client
Created visual renders to enable the client to see what the design would look like before moving to prototype
Created an in-house prototype of the handle to test the design ergonomics
Created technical drawings that clearly communicated the design to the manufacturer
Faresco were so impressed with the quality of the work, they have commissioned Fripp Design and Research to develop other products in the Pro-Ware range.
The Pro-Ware pan range has been a huge success and is currently on sale.
