The design and prototyping of fabric goods is an area where Fripp Design and Research has a proven track record, having designed for the likes of the Gadget Show and Smashii

Fripp Design and Research offer a unique balance of exciting concept development, 3D CAD and realistic visual rendering as well as close links to UK based textile prototype and production companies.

2MS wanted to create a desirable and high-end range of men's travel storage solutions.  The brief was to create a suitable "design language" that could be carried across a range of personal storage goods. Starting with explorative research to understand what materials and colours would be most suitable, the project continued on to explore a wide range of construction options culminating in a refined range of products for market testing and assessment for production suitability.

According to 2MS, the project constituted a worthwhile early investment in viability planning and informed a realistic decision to be made on production options.  The project moved to initial manufacture before maturing into an extended business proposition based on actual, rather than notional, possibilities.
